I have assisted organizations from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies by creating products based on a user-centered design while meeting an organization’s best interest. My projects include redesigns for Krav Maga New York, iheartradio, Mypix2canvas site, and Roselle Catholic High School websites.

Krav Maga New York Redesign

Overview

Krav Maga New York is a training center specializing in the Israeli self-defense system based out of two locations in Somers and Middletown New York. The business was looking to redesign their outdated site to drive their brand presence, attract more clients, and improve the user experience for current students. 

Problem

The current site taxonomy and labels were confusing to current students, further more the site wasn't leveraging any type of content or SEO strategy to boost their rankings. 

Process

In regards to content I worked closely with a content strategist Michele Costa-Bell to review the current traffic going to the site, trends, and Adwords. I interviewed the stakeholders to understand what would they consider as a success for this redesign. I also interviewed users to understand their informational needs, in addition to conducting a comparative analysis to discover best practices. For deliverables I created a sitemap, recommended SEO friendly urls and annotated-high level wireframes.

Roselle Catholic High School Redesign

overview

Roselle Catholic High School is a coeducational school located in Roselle, New Jersey. The school wanted to redesign their outdated site to drive their brand and sports presence, attract more students, and improve the usability of their site for current parents and students. 

Problem

The current site navigation wasn't as intuitive and wasn't designed to target specific audiences such as parents, current students, and alumni. Furthermore the school wanted to add emphasis to its sports and extracurricular activities which weren't being featured prominintely enough.

Process

I interviewed the stakeholders to understand what would their requirements are for this redesign. I also conducted a comparative analysis to discover best practices from similar sites. For deliverables I created a sitemap and annotated mid-level wireframes.
