FireEye
EcoSystem Team
I worked as a Senior User Experience Designer for the EcoSystem group within FireEye’s in house UX team. One of our group’s objectives is creating a design system to further the efficiency and consistency of the design process for product designers.
In addition to the design system, our team provided guidance and project assistance for teams such as Customer Success, Marketing, and many others at FireEye. Our focus was to further the user friendliness of not only our products but also our processes across the company.
My contributions included strategy, user research, interaction design, and visual design.
FireEye Market
Overview
I lead and managed the UX for the creation of our FireEye Market website. The FireEye Market is meant to provide the opportunity for internal and external users to have access to extensions which would augment our platform with additional capabilities and further strengthen integrations into the FireEye experience.
My goal through stakeholder interviews, user research, and workshops was to identify the priorities for our MVP1. Once the features for MVP1 were established then the goal was to create deliverables such as wireframes and prototypes.
Process
Prior to our first workshop, my goal was to receive an overview in terms of what specific content we would like to include but also have available to populate the marketplace.
Furthermore to understand from our stakeholders what would they consider to be a successful MVP1, in addition to understanding what our end users’ expectations for the marketplace would be.
To gather the needed information I conducted stakeholder interviews, user interviews, competitive analysis, and a priority matrix exercise. From that point I reviewed with the stakeholders what features to include in our MVP1 and then proceeded to create wireframes and prototypes.
